The Parish Council, in 2014, set up a community project to create a Parish Plan to represent the views of residents on the future of the Parish. A Parish Plan is used by the Parish Council to give them clear evidence of residents’ needs, wishes and priorities and to help them to draw up an Action Plan detailing how these can be achieved. The aims of a Parish Plan are: to give the community a voice: to help to strengthen the community: and to encourage people to take action through their own initiative.
