The Shoscombe History Group has benefitted from National Lottery Funding. We are very grateful for their support
Anyone interested in local history is welcome to join us. We got stuck into our first project in 2012 researching our local heritage. We presented our information in a series of display boards which were used at Radstock Museum as part of their Villages and Communities Exhibition in 2013! These boards will soon be on permanent display in the Village Hall. Since then we have researched a specific local history topic each year, displayed at the annual Shoscombe Village Day and shown below with Zoom-in feature so that you can read the information more clearly.
