Shoscombe Local History Group
Our next meeting is on Friday, 24th November at Shoscombe Village Hall. Beginning at 7pm with a brief AGM, and followed by illustrated talks on the acquiring and restoration of the Shoscombe and Single Hill Halt Sign by Derek Withers, and Our Local Somerset and Dorset Railway Line, by Chris Paul. The evening will finish with Cheese and Wine. A free event, all welcome. There will be a retiring collection to help with the railway board restoration costs

- Visits to Radstock Museum transcribing and summarising the Braysdown Colliery Documents
- April - Visit to the Museum of Bath at Work
- July - Celebration and unveiling of the Shoscombe and Single Hill Halt Sign
- August - Visit to the Claverton Pumping Station
- November - AGM & Illustrated talks on the Restoration of the Halt Sign and the Somerset and Dorset Railway
