Background
Shoscombe Ramblers was formed in 2015 by a group of local residents who wanted to share with others some of their favourite walks in the immediate area. We are so fortunate in this Parish to have a network of footpaths and a variety of locations to explore including woodland, river and meadow walks, and hills with far reaching vistas. It was decided to meet for a walk on the third Sunday of the month starting at 10 am at Shoscombe Village Hall. Members of the group have taken it in turn to devise circular walks estimated to last 2-3 hours.
Shoscombe ramblers is open to everyone who enjoys walking. Details of our walks are posted on this page in advance with a brief narrative covering who is leading the walk, meeting place and time, length and expected duration, likely terrain, expected highlights and whether it is dog friendly. Just turn up or email Sally : [email protected] Details also feature in the village newsletter |
