Wellow
Oil Consortium

The Wellow Oil Group
The Wellow Oil Group was set up in July 2008. The ethos and purpose of the group is to provide the residents of Wellow and surrounding villages with a syndicate that enables it to bulk purchase domestic heating oil for its members. A further and equally valued ethos is to collate oil deliveries so that only full tankers visit the community thereby reducing traffic movements and the consequential environmental pollution.
The group goes out to tender and purchases oil once a month, generally saving its members between 2p and 9p per litre compared to individual purchases. If you are a resident in Shoscombe and would like to join the group and become a member, please contact the group co-ordinator Richard Holland on 01225 833348
or email
rgmholland@outlook.com
and he will be pleased to discuss the details with you
